Community Guidelines
Last updated: 16 April 2026
Elite CrowdMakers is a paid, vetted community. We hold ourselves and each other to a higher standard than a free forum because every member is here by invitation and has paid to be part of it. These Guidelines set out what we expect.
1. Be a contributor, not a consumer
Turn up. Share what you know. Ask real questions. Reply to other members thoughtfully. The value of this community comes from what members put into it. If you only ever lurk, you are missing the point.
2. No spam or unsolicited promotion
Do not blast self-promotional links, affiliate offers, or recruitment pitches across crowds or DMs. Promotion belongs in the dedicated threads where it has been invited. Outside those threads, treat posts as conversation, not advertising.
3. No harassment, hate, or personal attacks
Disagreement is welcome. Contempt is not. Do not post content that harasses, belittles, stalks, or threatens another member. Do not target anyone based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or any other protected characteristic.
4. No illegal content
Do not share anything unlawful, including content that infringes copyright, defames a person or business, solicits fraud, breaches confidentiality, or is otherwise illegal under the laws of England and Wales.
5. No doxxing or privacy breaches
Do not share personal contact details, home or work addresses, private photos, or other private information about any person (member or not) without clear consent. Respect what is shared inside the community, stays inside the community unless the poster says otherwise.
6. Show up as yourself
Use your real name and current role. Do not impersonate other people or companies. If your circumstances change (new company, new role), update your profile so introductions stay accurate.
7. Consequences of breaking these Guidelines
We use a graduated response so members can learn and course-correct. Serious or repeated breaches skip the earlier steps.
- Warning: a private note from a moderator explaining what was out of line and how to put it right.
- Mute: a time-limited restriction on posting while you reflect.
- Content removal: specific posts, comments, or messages removed from public view.
- Ban: account closed and access revoked. Membership fees paid for the current period are not refunded where the ban is the result of a breach.
Harassment, threats, hate speech, illegal content, doxxing, and account fraud will usually result in an immediate ban.
8. How to report an issue
If you see something that crosses the line, or if something has happened to you, please tell us. You can report posts and messages through the built-in report control, or email us directly at hello@elitecrowdmakers.com with a link or screenshot. Reports are treated confidentially.
9. A higher standard
We are a premium, moderated community. If these Guidelines feel stricter than a free platform, that is on purpose. The bar is part of what you pay for.
